01Facebook data we store
Facebook Page (Marketing › Social)
When you connect a Facebook Page in Apex, we store only what is needed to publish the posts you approve:
- the ID and name of the one Page you chose;
- a Page access token, kept encrypted and never shown in your browser;
- the posts you created or approved in Apex, their scheduled times, and the Facebook post ID and link once Facebook publishes them.
Facebook ad account (Marketing › Facebook Ads)
When you connect Facebook Ads in Apex, we have read-only access to the ad account you chose and store only what is needed to show you its reports:
- the ID of that ad account;
- an access token with read-only access to it, kept on our servers and never shown in your browser;
- the ID of your Meta Pixel, which Apex adds to your Apex website’s tracking code;
- if you added one, the Conversions API token for that Pixel, used only to report the leads you mark as closed deals;
- short-lived copies of your report figures (spend, results and ad details), kept so the screen loads quickly.
We do not store your Facebook password, your friends, your personal profile posts, any content on your Page that was not created through Apex, or your payment methods, and Apex never changes your campaigns or ads.
02Disconnect in Apex (immediate)
Facebook Page: sign in to Apex, open Marketing › Social, and in the right-hand panel click Disconnect Facebook, then confirm.
This immediately deletes the stored Page ID, Page name and Page access token. Posts that were waiting to be published are withdrawn from Facebook and moved back to drafts in Apex, so nothing further is posted. Posts that Facebook already published stay on your Page — you can delete those on Facebook at any time.
Facebook ad account: sign in to Apex, open Marketing › Facebook Ads, and click Disconnect at the top right, under the connection status.
This immediately deletes the stored access token and ad account ID, and Apex stops reading the account. A Conversions API token, if you added one, is separate: remove it under Marketing › Scripts & Pixels › Send closed deals to Facebook. Your Meta Pixel stays on your website, because it is part of your site’s tracking (you can see it under Marketing › Scripts & Pixels); to have it and any remaining report copies removed, follow step 4.
03Remove Apex in Facebook
You can also revoke access from Facebook’s side: in Facebook go to Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations (or Apps and websites), select Apex, and choose Remove. The stored tokens then stop working at once: Apex cannot post to your Page or read your ad account. To have the remaining Page and ad account details and your Apex post history deleted as well, follow step 4.
04Delete everything else
To delete your Social post history, your Meta Pixel ID and stored ad report copies, your Apex account, or any other personal information we hold, email privacy@reilink.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will confirm the request, delete the data within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it, and reply when it is done. See Section 08 (Data Retention) of our Privacy Policy for what we must retain and why.
